Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Role

  • Network with internal and external resources to develop a database of candidates with attractive engineering experiences for FlexEng and CTP
  • Conduct initial interviews to screen for technical and soft skills appropriate to Cognitect/Nubank environment.
  • Administer the interview process, handling scheduling and feedback, supporting and coaching hiring managers/interviewers as needed
  • Deliver feedback to candidates throughout the interview cycle
  • Make verbal/written offer to successful candidates
  • Deliver rejection to unsuccessful candidates
  • Introduce new hires to Admissions for onboarding and assist as needed in that process to solidify the new hire relationship
  • be responsible for keeping US Talent Acquisition systems and processes up to date and compatible with global talent acquisition.

What we are looking for

  • Experienced technical Talent Acquisition professional with a history of recruiting Clojure developers
  • US and global network preferred
  • Proven ability to interface with all levels of an organization

Role Location

  • Durham, NC or Remote
Interviewing and onboarding is currently done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team and our current staff will remain working from home until it is safe to return to our offices. If/when relocation is required, we have a team dedicated to global mobility and have partnered up with the best companies in the market to make sure processes run smoothly. HR Business Partner - US

About the Role

  • Work with related Nu group People & Culture tribe to ensure full integration between Cognitect and related companies. Include communication to related companies on how Cognitect operates and the necessity of details that are required within the US.
  • Provide communication and education where necessary to ensure that all US employees are taking part in the greater Nu group opportunities and responsibilities as needed.
  • Review rules and regulations for employers of our size to ensure that our practices are appropriately following state and federal regulations.
  • Manage benefit plans - including negotiation, implementation, viability of plan to be used as a recruiting tool for all benefits that Cognitect currently offers.
  • Continually search for other benefits that may be advantageous to our community.
  • Work with Admissions and Payroll manager to ensure smooth onboarding process for new employees
  • Manage performance cycle, education and communication for all Cognitect managers

What we are looking for

  • Experienced HR partner with knowledge of global organization best practices
  • Understanding of multi-state US employee needs in companies exceeding 50 employees
  • Proven ability to interface with all levels of an organization
  • 4 year degree in Human Resources or related fiel

Role Location

  • Durham, NC or Remote
